SHOES - Neon Running Shoes for Men

You might have spotted a trend in the gym or your local park lately. Trainers are getting bright, neon in fact. Henry Holland recently tweeted a picture of his bright orange Nike trainers and I've seen countless other Instagram shots too. Black and boring is 'out' and neon brights are 'in'. It's one of the easiest ways to stand out from the crowd, and going for styles like the neon running shoes in yellow below could also help you stay seen when running in the evening, so there's a practical benefit too.

Highlighter hues have been a popular fashion look for menswear generally, but it's not a look that everyone is brave enough to try. So take this trend to your gym kit and stay fashionably fit.

The selection below are from Spartoo. Check out the trainers from Supra, Nike, Adidas and Reebok. They've all got in on the neon action.

GROOMING - 5 Bargain Bathroom Essentials

1. Wash & Go Solo
At just £1, you can't really go wrong with having some Wash & Go stashed in your bathroom. It's been a much-loved brand for tackling greasier hair for 20 years, but they've now launched the new solo range available in Light & Clean and Menthol Fresh. Give it a try!

2. Gillette Fusion ProGlide razor
My boyfriend swears by the ProGlide razor. For once, the claims that this is better than ever really are true. It's a closer, more comfortable shave.

3. Bulldog Face Scrub
I covered the launch of Bulldog grooming products on the blog back in 2009, and I still think it's a great range, and great value too. Any guy who shaves should use a face scrub from time to time to help get rid of raised bumps and dead skin. This one comes in at around the £5 mark so is really affordable.

4. Fish Fingers Sculpt and Defining Wax
When it comes to styling your hair there are a huge number of products out there. You could spend  loads in a swanky hair salon, or you could go to Boots and pick up the Fish Fingers shape defining wax which comes in at a reasonable £5.99.

5. Original Source for Men Black Mint Shower Gel
Minty shower gel is one sure-fire way to wake up in the morning. Original Source is a favourite with men (and don't think us girls don't know why). Its tingling, freshness makes it a bathroom essential.
