SHOP - Your Eyes Lie Store in Carnaby

your eyes lie shop opening
A little while ago I was invited along to the newly opened Your Eyes lie store just off Carnaby Street in London. I've got to admit, I'd never heard of the brand but was pleasantly surprised with the cool tees and funky accessories on display in the store. The launch itself was a popular affair too, with people spilling out onto the streets and DJs playing some awesome tunes.

I particular liked the way t-shirts were stacked in refrigerators - a fab idea in my opinion. And while you're there, why not pick up a cute accessory for one of your female friends. I recommend the alphabet rings, or for that matter, buy one for yourself.

You can also shop online or keep up with the latest news at their blog.

GIFTS - What to buy her for Christmas

It can be tough deciding on what to buy a woman at Christmas, but there are plenty of things that most women can never have too much of. I've given you some ideas from Debenhams, so you can head online, buy and run. Go on, why not get it done in advance this year and avoid that last-minute panic. You could always enlist the help of a personal shopper to do the hard work for you too. Heaven!

FASHION - Get With The Knitwear

The weather is cold, blustery and generally unpleasant. It's definitely time to treat yourself to some winter knits and whether you like cheap and cheerful or luxe labels there's plenty of choice at the moment. If you don't want to spend too much then grab a knit from Blue Inc. they have loads of styles and shapes. I got my boyfriend the top jumper and it really is soft, warm and cosy - occasionally I feel the need to steal it as us girls often do.

You can't go wrong with chunky knits in denim blue hues. Opt for something with a bit of a collar to keep out the winter chills and wear with a plain white tee underneath, your favourite jeans and smart sneakers.

winter knitwear for menCore Hoody - £14.99

I think the ribbed detailing on this hoody is a real break from the norm. Layer it under your jacket for the ultimate in warmth.

Loving this utility style cardigan for something a little different. Grey is a really easy colour to wear too. Wear it open for a casual cool look.

Even better, Blue Inc have a free returns policy, either to store or by post. I think that's such a benefit and a real reason to shop online. The other fab thing is the sizing, you'll find XS to XXL.

FASHION - The Goggle Coat

the goggle coat
Looking for a winter coat this year that's a little bit different? I've got one for you. The Goggle Coat by CP Company is definitely quirkier than your average outerwear. Not only that, there's some practicality to it too, although for most it will be more of a gimmick. The coat's a cool weathered style but it'll cost you a tidy £850. Individuality comes at a price.
