I stumbled across this fab T-shirt website the other day, www.halfaconversation.com The T-shirts are hand printed to order and cost £23 or $32. The slogans are part of a longer conversation or statement and you can click to find out the background behind the slogan on the website. Text can be printed in red, blue or black making things really simple and even more effective.

WEBSITE - Adidas Celebrates a New Website

The Adidas website has had a dramatic revamp and the new site reflects the brand's recent advertising campaigns. The TV adverts saw celebrities including David Beckham, the Ting Tings and Katy Perry, all hanging out at the ultimate house party. Adidas also celebrates 60 years of 'soles and stripes', the whole reason for the party feel within the brand's current campaigns.

The new site is a bit of a journey to navigate, but very visual. The look books allow you to view the clothes on models in movement; something that many clothing websites are now incorporating. View the Adidas catalogue, browse by sport or get sidetracked by the mini documentaries and other surprises your web visit has in store.

SHOES - Pantone Steps up to Footwear

If you are a designer type, then the recent ranges of Pantone branded accessories will not have escaped your radar. The latest collection is a collection of See Vees sneakers in Pantone palettes. Each shoe has a date as part of its name, one (the 09/63) being the year Pantone began; 1963. There are currently 7 colours to choose from. My personal favourite are the blue shown above.

TIPS - Minty Fresh Breath

When Placing Your Order…

• Meat eaten in large quantities can cause bad breath, mostly due to the digestion process, which begins in the mouth.

• Carbohydrates cause the strongest odors in the mouth – sugars, starches, and cellulose

• Milk intolerance is also a cause of bad breath. If you are sensitive to dairy products – steer clear of ice cream desserts!

After Your Meal…

• Lick the inside of your wrist. This is the best test to see if your breath is foul.

• Use dental floss. Bad breath can be caused by food caught in your teeth.

• Chew your garnish! Parsley is a well-known home remedy for bad breath.

• Order the fruit dessert. Fresh fruits help cleanse the mouth after a meal and flush away odor-causing bacteria

At the Bar…

• Alcohol dries out the mouth, which reduces saliva production.

• Mojitos contain lots of fresh mint, so order one and ask for an extra mint garnish to chew on after you finish your drink.

• Water will help thwart the dehydration effect of alcohol. Order one glass of water for every drink and you’ll stay sober and sweet!

• Alcohol consumption causes digestive problems which leads to bad breath. In addition, alcohol dries out the mouth, which reduces saliva production.

I am a little envious of a certain Mr Kanye West. He recently revealed that he owns 450 pairs of shoes. More than one for every day of the year no less. Kanye has worked with Louis Vuitton to create his own range of trainers and his personal collection makes him perfectly placed to do so. He has even embarked upon an internship to help him become a true fashion force.

But Kanye really cares about his collection too. Each pair is boxed with a Polaroid taken and pinned to the outside. It is all a bit Sex and the City in my opinion, especially as he employs someone to care for the shoes for him. Most men I know own 5 pairs of shoes at a maximum, but when you have the money, I guess it is a different story.

Did you know that Kanye has changed his name by the way; Martin Louis the King Jr. Hmmm, and who said he was full of himself!

Celebrities such as David Beckham, Christiano Ronaldo and Brad Pitt are helping to make the nation more metrosexual as British men splash the cash on accessories to try and keep up with their idols.

This is according to a report from home insurance company MORE TH>N which reveals that the age of the manbag has well and truly arrived in the UK. In fact, 18.4 million (eight in ten) adult males now admit to sporting one, with manbags fast becoming as ubiquitous as the female handbag.

The report also gives a surprising insight into the contents of an average manbag. As well as the obligatory wallet, mobile phone and MP3 player, one in five (4.5 million) British males admit to carrying grooming products such as moisturiser, hair wax or even so-called ‘guy-liner’ showing Brits aren’t ashamed of following Liam Gallagher’s lead and pampering themselves.

The findings also show how the UK’s increased metrosexuality isn’t just a London-based phenomenon – Liverpool, Leicester and Norwich are the UK’s manbag hotspots. Surprisingly, despite their rugged image, Scots from Edinburgh are the most likely to carry grooming products with them.

To reflect their growing self-confidence, metrosexual British males are investing in ever more stylish manbags. Gone are the days of the battered sports bag, today’s Brits are now more likely to make a fashion statement with their satchel – the average male will spend £92.00 on a designer bag with men in Brighton spending the most - £138.79. The average bloke carries, including bag and contents, £652.43 around with them at all times.

The research was conducted as part of the development of MORE TH>N’s enhanced contents insurance offering. In a response to customer’s need for better cover when away from the home, MORE TH>N’s new Contents Outside the Home option covers up to £75,000 of belongings, (including handbags and manbags) when out and about. I am sure all the insurance companies will start offering the same thing. It isn't just the ladies with the bags any more.
