I am all for more representative models in the industry, but American Apparel's choice of underwear model is, well, a little strange. I don't take kindly to a man with unwashed hair, spotty skin and a vacant expression catching me unawares while wearing only his pants. Luckily this was not a real life occurrence, I merely caught sight of him while browsing for some undies to feature on this website, but even so... the mental scarring will haunt my dreams for some time to come.

I really think that the person who wrote the appraisal of the model needs to wake up. The days when the super-muscled, slick-shaved, well oiled fantasy man are disappearing fast. Guys nowadays are well represnted by the model in question. As to his hair, I cannot see why it should be considered as being unwashed. An unduly vitriolic and ill-considered commentary.
I completely appreciate your point of view Yannick, It's just not selling the underwear very well to me or many of the other people who I've asked.
