WEBSITE OF THE WEEK - Twitter

For those who have yet to discover Twitter, allow me to explain. Forget Facebook, Myspace and Bebo, Twitter keeps thing refreshingly simple. No silly add ons, just 140 character messages that tell your followers what you are up to. You can keep your profile very basic, but it allows you to keep your friends updated without having to send them all an individual text.

Why not follow The Style PA on Twitter now. It is the easiest way to keep up with what I am covering on the blog, and what is going on in my everyday life. If you set up your phone you can turn mobile alerts on, so that when I update Twitter, you get the message via text. It's genius right?

I am even thinking of setting up a twitter account to keep my food diary. Sending a text every time I eat a meal will help me to make better choices. You could rope in a buddy to review your updates each day to make sure you are on track. There are countless other tools and uses too, like a tweet for every cigarette you have, if you are trying to cut down. Let me know if you have found an inventive way of using Twitter!

Go have a look and I hope to find and follow lots of you on Twitter very soon.

MOST WANTED - Xen Watch

Silver, black and white are a sleek and stylish combination. This watch from online website Isis Jewellers exudes sophistication and I for one am a big fan. Easy to fit into both business and casual wear means that the money would be well spent on this timepiece. There are other watches in the range which follow this same slick styling so any man would be spoilt for choice.

MOST WANTED - Custom Foosball Table

This is, in my opinion, the ultimate Foosball table. This custom, one-of-a-kind table was hand crafted by industrial designer, Jared Arp in 2007 and has won awards in the design community for both aesthetic appeal and pure function.

The body is constructed from Hard Maple and Silver Lace Wood, reinforced by Italian Bending Board and HDF. The playing surface and walls are made from black polycarbonate, chosen for visibility and control.

It may just be a game, but the game will look and feel much better playing on this hand crafted marvel. Not only that, the contemporary looks will enhance your interior decor too, it is almost art. The good news is that it's currently for sale, if you can afford the hefty, but justified valuation of $9,500.

MOST WANTED - Haversack Scarf

Haversack Scarf - Oki-Ni - £89

A little bit of luxury, this linen scarf is the perfect summer accessory. Team with a light weight knit for cooler evenings. It would also look great with a smart coat so could carry you through to winter quite easily.

As for the way to wear the scarf, there is much debate. Some would argue that doubling it over and looping through, as shown in the above photo, is too feminine. I actually think that it looks just fine like that so long as it is not too neatly done. Most men look good in a scarf that has been casually slung round the neck and the less effort the better really.

DESIGNER - Neck Face for Vans

Vans have been working with street artist Neck Face again to produce a new collection of shoes and clothing. This new line follows on from a limited-edition collection last year and promises to be even darker. Imagine witches, demonic bats and sharp toothed goths. Neck Face has also worked with Stussy and Altamont Apparel and has a huge following within the skateboarding and graffiti worlds.

FASHION - The perfect outfit

I have researched what clothes women (and men) most like to see a man wearing on the first date. Granted this is no statistical representation, admittedly I just asked some mates, but even so, there seems to be one outfit that is a sure winner every time and it requires almost no effort at all.

Here is what you need...

A white or grey T-shirt
- The colour will show off the slightest tan you might have, and should cut off just at the bicep to make the most of those assets . It shouldn't be overly tight, fitting well across the shoulders, arms and chest but be looser on the belly.

A good pair of distressed jeans -
They should hang low on the waist, but not show the whole of your underwear. Quality is important, and the fit even more so. I like to see them baggy in the leg, tighter on the bum.

Hilfiger Woody Loose Jeans - ASOS - £90

Sneakers/trainers -
Clean and unfussy shoes are the way to go. Keep separate trainers for different things. One for best, one for sport and one for anything that may involve mud!

A belt - To save your jeans from falling round your ankles.

Quiksilver Visionneers Cotton Belt - Extremepie - £25

A nice scent - Often how you smell is as important as how you look, pick your scent carefully and get advice from someone who knows if you are not sure what to go for. I recommend L'eau de Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake.

WEBSITE OF THE WEEK - Threadless.com

Probably one of the best sites for T-Shirts that has ever existed. The variety and range is brilliant, there really is something for everyone. It is quite fun just browsing too, I was giggling at many of the slogans and motifs. There are all types of t-shirts for guys, gals and kids alike and the quirky way that the products are photographed is unlike other shopping sites.

You can even join a club to receive a new and exclusive T-Shirt every month for a year and why not participate and submit your own idea for a new t-shirt design, visitors can rate potential ideas.

Oh I do love a bargain and don't worry, they deliver to the UK too.

Here are some of my favourites...
